Day 01: Arrive at Lhasa

Upon arrival you will be met by our staff and transferred to the Hotel in downtown. Overnight: hotel in Lhasa

Day 02: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkor Street

In the morning, visit the Potala Palace, explore the grandest of this myriad chapels, you will experience its audience halls, the jeweled and Golden burial chortens (stupa Tombs) of past Dalai Lamas, and tremendous number of Buddhist frescoes, thangkas, combinations of mandala, etc. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the holiest temple in Tibet – the Johkang Temple, was built during king Songtsen Gonpo, and explore its famous Barkor Kora, where you can buy or appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, and tradition Tibetan clothes etc. Overnight: hotel in Lhasa

Day 03: Drepung and Sera Monasteries

After breakfast, visit Drepung Monastery, which is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once the home of 10000 monks and Ganden Podrang in Drepung is famous for it was the administrative center during fifth Dalai Lama and later moved to Potala palace. After having lunch, continue to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa’s disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive is its Buddhist monk’s debating held in the courtyard. Day 04: Ganden Monastery and Norbulingka

Drive out 48km east-north to Ganden Monastery, the first-ranked from among the six Gelug sect monasteries. Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelugpa School, built Ganden Monastery in 1409. Ganden Monastery was famous for its abbot throne holder who was traditionally recruited on the basis of his knowledge by a gathering of monks even from Drepung and Sera Monasteries. After visiting Ganden, drive into Lhasa and visit Norbulingka – the summer palace of successive Dalai Lamas. Overnight: hotel in Lhasa

Day 05: Drak Yerpa

Drive to Drak Yerpa. Drak Yerpa built on a hillside with more than 80 meditation caves and is described as the “life tree” or spiritual axis of Lhasa. The site had a powerful spiritual heritage; having been visited by Songsten Gampo, Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsoygel, Padampa Sanggye, and Atisha Before the Cultural Revolution is was the home of several hundred hermits, monks, and nuns.  After visiting Drak Yerpa then back to Lhasa and free sightseeing. Day 06: Yumbu Lagang, Traduk Monastery and Samye Monastery

Visit Yumbu Lagang that is the first castle of Tibet kingdom before King Tsongtsen Gampo of 7th sentury and then visit Tradug Monastery after it. Afternoon, we will drive other side of the Yanrlung Tsangpo River and visit Samye Monastery – the ever first monastery in Tibet and was build in 8th century by King Trisong Detsen. Overnight:  Monastery Guesthouse at Samye

Day 07: Chimpu Nunerary + 2hours Trekking

Drive to Chimpu Nunnery where you have a really good view all over Yarlung region and the river itself as well. Visit the nunnery and trek 2hours upright to discover few important caves among the 100 caves of Guru Rinpoche settled on surface of the hill.

Day 08: Set our for Gyangtse via Yamdrok Lake and Karola Glacier

In the morning set out for Gyangtse, which is a cultural city of central Tibet. En-route, we will see Yamdrok Youtso Lake, on top of Kampala pass. The crocodile-shaped lake is one of the four holy lakes in Tibet located just up right of Kamlala pass (3975m). And more on, we will see Karola Glacier on the way, at 4960m. The most important attraction for today is Yamdro-tso Lake, and Kumbum monastery in Gyantse. Yamdro-tso Lake is shaped like coiling scorpion with deep blue in colour and Kubum Stupa has a 35m-high chorten (stupa) with its white layers trimmed with decorative stripes and its crown-like golden dome. Day 09: Drive to Shigatse - Visit Tashi Lhunpo Moanstery and Narthang Monastery

Drive from Gyantse to Shigatse in the morning. In Shigatse, you will visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery where you can see the well-preserved largest statue of Jampa (future god) in the world. The monastery itself is abiding place for the successive Penchen Lamas. Then drive to visit Narthang Monastery, which is historically famous for Tibetan scripture printing. Then drive to Lhatse. Overnight: hotel in Lhatse

Day 10: Visit Sakya Monastery - then drive to Rongpu

In the morning, we will drive to Sakya Monastery. Sakya Monastery was built in 1079 the monastery houses great amounts of cultural relics including the titles, seals, crowns, garments and ornaments. Also the monastery preserves a great number of books such as the “Kagyur,” “Tenggyur,” Pattra-leaf scripture and other Tibetan classics on astronomy, geography, history, medicines and literature. The drive to Rongpu. Overnight: guesthouse

Day 11: Explore EBC

At earlier, passage on foot (hiring a horse is possible) up to Everest Based Camp (5200m) explore its some thing as it is something! After it drive ways back to Shigatse. Overnight: Shigatse

Day 12: Drive back to Lhasa

Drive to Lhasa along the beautiful Yarlung Tsangpo River.

Day 13: Transfer to Airport or Train Staion

Your local guide and driver will transfer you to air-port / train station to connect flight or train to your next stop. Your Tibet trip is completed. Tashi Delek!
