You will be connected to Tibet train from Xining. This tour package is merely focused on Mt. kailash and Guge kingdom tour adventure. Before you do the Mt. Kailash tour, take a ride around Lake Manasarovar, dip into its cold but purifying waters, and have an audience with Guru Rinpoche in his cave at Manasarovar, and now you are ready for a Kailash Kora tour.

Before Guge king tour we will do Kailash kora trek. Most travelers endeavor to do a kora (circumambulations) around Mt. Kailash. Mt. Kailash is worshipped by Buddhists, Hindus, Jains of India, and Tibetan shamanic Bon believers alike. Trekking around Mt. Kailash takes two and a half days in total. Further points of interest include old monasteries around Mt. Kailash.

It is recommended to learn the Avalokiteshvara mantra – Om Ma Ni Pedme Hum – and chant it while walking around Kailash, wishing all human beings to be happy. – Adventures In Tibet

Day 1: Arrive in Xining

Pick up from Airport and stay overnight in Lete Hostel.

Day 2: Train to Lhasa

Transfer to Xining train station to connect Lhasa train.

Day 3: Arrive in Lhasa

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Flora Hotel (Near Barkhor street)

Day 4: Visit Potala, Jokhang temple and Barkhor street

Sights and highlights: Potala Place, Jokhang Temple and Barker Street etc. Overnight in Flora Hotel.

Day 5: Visit Drepung and Sera monasteries

Sights and highlights: Drepung and Sera monasteries; monks debate. Overnight in Flora hotel.

Day 6: Drive to Lake Namtso

Explore Namtso Lake in the evening time. Overnight in a tent guesthouse at the lake.

Day 7: Drive back to Lhasa

Sights and highlights: Explore the lake in the morning with sunset, visit Dorjee monastery. Flora Hotel.

Day 8: Drive to Shigatse via Yandrok lake, Karola glacier and Gyangtse

Sights and highlights: We will stop at each tourist sights such as Kambala pass, Yamdrok Lake, Semila Pass, Karola glacier, Gyangtse Pekhor Choede and the shorten etc. Gangjian Hotel near Tashi lhunpo Monastery.

Day 9: Set out to Mt. Everest Base Camp

Sights and highlights: visit Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Sakya Monastery and Rongphu Monastery. Overnight in Everest hotel near the base camp.

Day 10: Drive Saga County

Sights and highlights: Hike 1.5hours to Mt. Everest Base Camp in the early morning. After an enough exploration, we will drive to Saga. Overnight: Saga hotel or similar.

Day 11: Set our to Lake Manasarovar

Drive to Manasarovar. Stay in best available guesthouse near the lake

Day 12: Lake Manasarovar to Dharchen

Drive 84 kilometers around the lake and visit four oldest monasteries. Drive another 30km to Dharchen in the early evening. Our guide will arrange potters and horses. (Tell us if you need some) Best available guesthouse in Darchen.

Day 13: Trek to Dira Puk

Start trek from Dharchen to Drira Puk. Guesthouse.

Day 14 Trek to Zutrul Puk

Trek to Zutrul Puk. Guesthouse.

Day 15: Trek a halfway to until Darchen, drive to Titapuri Hot-spring

This trekking will end early afternoon and then drive to Tritapuri to have a hot-spring shower. Overnight at Titapuri.

Day 16: Drive to Tsaparang

Drive to Tsaparang county (Chi; Zhada Xian). At the arrival we will visit Tholing monastery. Overnight hotel in Tsaparang.

Day 17: Visit Guge Kingdom and Dongkar & Piyang

In the morning we will visit the ruins of Guge Kingdom and drive drive 45km off the beaten track to Dongkar & Piyang, the sammer palace of former Guge Kings. Drive back to Zhada in the evening. Overnight at hotel in Tsaparang.

Day 18: Drive to Paryang

Drive to Paryang. Overnight: guesthouse.

Day 19

Set out to Lhatse county”]Drive to Lhatse. Overnight in Shanghai hotel.

Day 20: Drive to Lhasa

Drive to Lhasa along the Yarlung Tsangpo River. Flora Hotel.

Day 21: A Day Trip to Gaden Monastery and Drak Yerpa

In the morning drive out for 45km to Gaden Monastery. In the afternoon drive to Drak Yerpa to further explore the meditation caves. We will return Lhasa in the evening. Flora hotel.

Day 22: Transfer to Airport or Train Station
