Shaman festival tour is a folk religious activity since 1400 years ago. Genuinely, Lurol (ཀླུ་རོལ་) is the Tibetan word, which in English is enjoying the Nagas and it is being celebrated from 17th June to 25th July (based on Chinese calendar) as an annual activity.

Shaman from our festival tours is considered to be the most interested one. People in the villages conduct important ceremony which honours the local mountain god and asks for the good health of the villagers and a good harvest season for the year. Our Office location on map.

Day 1: Xining - Kumbum - Rebgong

You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Kumbum Monastery (Chi: Ta’er Si) in the morning. After a thorough visit, we will drive to Rebgong (Chi: Tongren). We will do a modern Homestay. If you want to know about Tibetan Shamanism, just read our article about this very topic here >>

Day 2: Enjoy Tibet Shaman's festival

Tibet Shaman’s festival is being held in respective villages and monasteries nearby the town. Since Rebgong (the famous and home to Tibet traditional arts, Thangka Painting) is also popular for Tibetan shamanism, we will drive to Langya villages to explore Tibet shaman’s festival. Modern Homestay in Rebgong.

Day 3: Enjoy Tibetan Shaman's festival

In the morning, we will drive to Sakyi village and enjoy a different Tibet shaman’s festival there. Again enjoy the festival near the Ringwu Monastery in the town. Modern Homestay in Rebgong.

Day 4: Explore Thangka painting and Drive to Xining

This day we will explore Tibetan traditional arts, Thangka painting in Seng-ge Shong monasteries. These places are the most famous for Tibetan thangka painting all through Tibet. We will return to Xining early afternoon and drop at the hotel. Tour ends. Hope you enjoyed Tibetan Shamanism tour.
