Upon arrival at Gongkar Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in downtown Lhasa. Spend the evening resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude.
Overnight: Lhasa
Start your day with a visit to the iconic Potala Palace, built in the 7th century, where you’ll explore its grand chapels and learn about its rich history. After lunch, visit Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s holiest temple, built during the reign of King Songtsen Gampo. Then, stroll along Barkor Street, a bustling market where you can admire and purchase traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious items, antiques, books, musical instruments, Thangkas, and Tibetan clothing.
Overnight: Hotel in Lhasa
Your guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to Lhasa Special School, located in Xianzudao. This school is home to around 120 students, many of whom are deaf and blind, communicating using Tibetan hand signs. Spend time interacting with the children and learning about their daily lives. Today, drive to the Tibetan Blind School on Jiangsu Road. Engage with the students and gain insight into their education and training programs designed to empower visually impaired children. Overnight: Lhasa
Travel about 20km west of Lhasa to Duilung Dechen County, where you will visit an orphan school with approximately 150 students. You are welcome to bring gifts such as clothing, stationery, and learning materials to support the children.

Today, embark on a meaningful journey to Nyemo County, about 120km from Lhasa, to visit an orphan school near Shugula Pass, home to around 70 students. This orphanage has very limited resources, and any donations or support are greatly appreciated. After spending time with the children, return to Lhasa in the late evening.
